Following the new rules

It’s been 3 days now since MrH decided to issue me with daily rules.

They seem simple enough as for the most part they are about me taking care of myself (exercise and diet), making sure I don’t spend too much money (no eBay or Amazon purchases without permission), and, dressing in a way that makes MrH happy (matching underwear or no knickers).

Well so far so good. I’ve eaten inline with the Slimming World rules, I’ve completed my exercise, worn my matching undies and asked permission before ordering from Amazon (cat food).

Tomorrow I’m going to work. Somewhere I’ve never been, with people I have never met.

I can take lunch with me and snacks. The thing I will struggle with, what I always struggle with, is exercise.

If I wait until I get home I will be too tired.

My only option is to make use of the lunch break and go for a quick walk… Failing that if the weather is bad I could walk up and down stairs in the building for 15 mins. They may think I’m bonkers but it’s not like they would be wrong..

Most important thing is I have to try and find a way to do it. I do not want to disappoint MrH or find out what he plans as punishment should I fail.

Yesterday after the long drive I asked if walking round the supermarket would count as my exercise. MrH agreed ‘on this occasion’ because of my back being sore already from the drive.

Today he advised me not to push and do too much exercise as I am still sore. I did 15 mins of gentle dancing. It felt nice to loosen up a bit tho.

Friday will bring new challenges.

If things go well tomorrow I will be working on Friday. MrH has a new rule that I am not allowed to wear knickers on Fridays 😳

That should make my 2nd day extra interesting lol

  1. Have you tried any of the joe wicks workouts. We use (loosely) his lean in 15 and it has HIIT sessions for 16 mins or so which I can do first thing before work. If you look at the body coach in you tube you will see them. We use the low impact ones as we are too old for the others lol. Just a thought. Happy to explain more if you are interested but the theory makes sense and it works for us – when we do it.

I'd love to hear your thoughts... please leave me a comment.
